Changes in You During Pregnancy

You won't notice a great deal of change in your body until the second half of your pregnancy. You may experience fatigue or morning sickness at the beginning of pregnancy, but these both usually disappear by the end of the 1st trimester (13 weeks). You will begin to gain more weight in the last trimester.

Slowly you will see your abdomen grow larger. Your breasts will get bigger, you may add some weight to your hips and thighs, and you may experience some swelling in hands and feet. These changes are
normal in pregnancy. We hope that by knowing about them, and other changes you may experience, you will be more comfortable with what happens to you.

It may be a while before you realize you're pregnant You shouldn't gain much weight during the 1st trimester probably no more than 5 pounds (2.25kg) for the first few months. Your abdomen will grow a little, but even though you want to, you won't feel the baby move during this time.
By about the 4th month, you'll begin showing; people will be able to tell you're pregnant. One of the most exciting things in your pregnancy will happen soon you'll begin to feel your baby move! During the last part of your pregnancy, you will notice many changes. Your baby will be growing quite a bit and gaining a great deal of weight during this time.
